The North Tyne Truck Run was set up back in 2021 by Fiona Pattinson as a bit of fun and also as a thank you to the villagers for putting up with the wagons coming through the villages all year long. The Truck Run seemed to be a huge hit and we have managed to grow this over the years and aim to do so over the next few year and keep it going from strength to strength with support from the public and Alex Maclennan for facilitating the Truck Run.
Off the back of the truck run I realised that there were families in the North Tyne that struggle at Christmas time and as i am a Huge fan of Christmas it upsets me to see that there are children in the area that wake up on Christmas day to no present or aren't able to have a Christmas dinner.
So i decided to set up a charitable organisation called Santa's Little Helpers which raises money to help families in the North Tyne.
No parent should have to explain to a child why Santa has not been so we're stepping in to provide presents or Christmas dinner to those families who need it most.
Santa didn't visit, so we're stepping in to provide presents and Christmas dinners to those families who need it
reputation and often wins awards for the standard of their timber lorries.
anta's Little Helpers, which raises funds to support these families during the holiday season. We believe that no child should have to wonder why Santa didn't visit, so we're stepping in to provide presents and Christmas dinners to those families who need it most.
